Frequently asked questions

  • Do you offer still photography?

Yes — still photography can be added to any video package. We can also shoot in heritage/stylized formats (Polaroid, large format, etc.). Prints are available upon request.

  • Do you shoot on film (heritage formats)?

Absolutely. We offer Super 8 and Super 16mm motion picture film options alongside digital capture. These are perfect for adding character, texture, and a timeless quality to your projects.

  • What if weather or scheduling changes?

We always prefer rescheduling rather than canceling. If something comes up (weather, location issue, etc.), we’ll coordinate a new date that works for all parties. We ask for as much advance notice as possible.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

Yes — but deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel after booking, your deposit will be retained. Cancellations within 14 days may incur further fees as outlined in your contract.

  • What’s considered a full day, and do you charge overtime?

A full day equals up to 10 hours on set. Any time beyond that is billed as overtime per crew member, at a rate defined in your contract.

  • Will there be extra travel or location fees?

Potentially. While your package pricing is designed for Omaha metro, out-of-area shoots, remote locations, or special permits may incur additional fees (travel, lodging, permit, etc.). We’ll clarify those costs up front so there are no surprises.

  • Can I choose the look or style of the project?

Definitely. We collaborate closely with you on creative direction — from color grading, lenses, and textural choices to film treatments, contrast styles, and mood. Your visual aesthetic is part of the process.

  • Who owns the footage, and how can I use it?

Dinosaur Cinema retains copyright of all material produced. You’ll receive a perpetual license to use the final edits across marketing, social media, and internal use. If you want additional usage rights (broadcast, resale, repurposing beyond what was agreed), we can arrange a license upgrade.

  • How long does it take to get the final video?

It depends on which package you choose:

    Starter Social: 3–5 business days

    Essential: 5–7 business days

    Core: 7–10 business days

    Premium: within 2 weeks
Projects that include heritage film may require extra time for lab processing and scanning. Rush delivery options are available upon request.
